CHEESE!

Chalk

We have brought out the sidewalk chalk! One Sunday at Grammy and Pop-pop's we were playing outside and I gave them some chalk. There of course was some tasting but after that they actually colored on the driveway some. Gotta love chalk!

Our new floor

We are now the proud new owners of a new dining room floor thanks to my Dad and Alan. Too bad we were forced to change the flooring. Licorice has been a very bad kitty and is peeing where he shouldn't be. His favorite place was underneath the trios high chairs. It stank. He also has 2 other spots he likes which is the landing going upstairs and in front of my washer. I have tried many different things to try to fix this problem. He is good with the kids and lets them pet him but I don't think he likes that there are gates up at different times of the day and he can't go where he pleases. This of course is all speculation because I am not a cat whisperer by any means.

Awesome job Dad and Alan! I didn't get to take any pictures of them working on it because me and the kids basically spent the weekend at my parents house. It looks nice and matches our carpet well. We love it!

16 Months

I know I am late but better late than never! The trio is 16 months old! They have come so far from the little balls of pudge they once were. Levi and Paige are walking. They have started talking. It is very cute and I love that they are starting to talk now. Levi says Cat (for any animal), quack, owe, nom nom (food), and nini (binky). He comes up with new ones every day. Paige says shoe, sit, shirt, and cat. she likes her S's. Nathan is still Mamamaing all day long. I think he is close to finding his words. We shall wait and see!

Except instead of food we are going to cook each other! At my parents house they have a play kitchen that my Dad had built for us when me and my sisters were younger. The trio loves to play with this kitchen. Pop-pop is going to build them one of their own! The new thing the like to do is to climb inside the cabinets. They are too funny shutting the cabinet doors on each other. They also pop the "sink" out and come up through the hole. Silly monkeys!

Easter egg hunt

A couple weeks ago we took the trio to their first Easter egg hunt. My Mom's for multiples group held an Easter egg hunt for all our multiples. It was a lot of fun seeing all the other kids. There were at least 3 sets of triplets including ours. The kids had a lot of fun. Paige caught on pretty quick and enjoyed picking up the eggs and putting them in her bucket. Levi just wanted to carry around an egg in each hand and didn't like when I took them away to put them in his bucket. Nathan just wanted to play on the playground. They hid the eggs on the playground for the 0-2 croud since it was fenced in which was nice. After the hunt they got to see the Easter bunny. They enjoyed looking at him from afar!

Here they are waiting to go hunt. People loved our wagon and we had a little boy come up and tell us he could pull them around if we wanted him to. Too cute!

 Paige playing with a truck. She loves to play with cars and trucks. She even makes the rrrrr sound as she pushes them around.

A little girl came over to show Paige where an egg was still "hidden". Paige was more interested in "talking" to the little girl.

We had a great time and can't wait to do it again next year! I am also looking forward to the egg hunt at my church before Easter!

A place for everything.......

And everything in it's place? I have a couple of bins placed around the house with their things in them. A basket for toys, a bin for books, and bins for toys. Lately my trio has decided that they need to empty these things of everything inside them so that they can then get in them! They love to try to see what they can get themselves into. Nathan tried to fit in their little people Noah's ark. He was a little miffed when all that would fit was one leg! Levi put their little people doll house on it's side and got himself wedged inside of it. Normally they are fighting over who gets to sit in the book bin. That is their favorite one.
