between 6am and 7am- Wake up and have an 8oz bottle
8am- cereal and a veggie (currently carrots)
between 8:30am and 9am- go down for first nap
between 10am and 11am- 8oz bottle
between 12:30pm and 1pm- go down for a nap
between 2pm and 3pm- 8oz bottle
4pm- mini nap
5pm- cereal and a veggie
between 6pm and 7pm- 8oz bottle then bed
On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday we have a bath before our nighttime bottle. We started feeding them cereal almost a month ago. We started to add veggies a couple weeks ago. We are doing veggies first and then we are going to introduce fruit. Once it is all introduced they will get fruit in the morning and veggies at night. So far this schedule is working for us. Hopefully it will continue to work. I am not going to add a 3rd meal until we go to the Dr. next month for their 6 month checkup. Of course we have lots of playtime in between all of our eating and napping. :) After their "dinner" we have started watching baby Einstein which has been really nice because it mellows them out to get them ready for bed. This is why it is difficult to try to go places with them. We do it, it's just difficult to get them back on schedule once thrown off. Hopefully our weekend goes well and the rain stays away from our picnics!
Also on a side note.......Go Flyers!!!! :)

Rollin rollin rollin......
We now have 2 rollers! Paige is rolling from back to tummy and back again. Levi is now rolling from belly to back. I think he could go from back to belly if he wanted, he just hasn't gotten that far yet. Paige is also not trying to get her knees up underneath herself when she is on her belly. We are so in trouble! I do love to just sit and watch her play on her belly. She is too cute kicking her little legs. Nathan is still just content chilling and playing with his toes. So far though he has almost always done things last. He is just holding onto his preemie card. He will do it when he is good and ready!
This weekend is going to be a busy one. We have a picnic tomorrow and a picnic on Monday. Part of me is excited for these things because I get out and get to see other people. Another part of me dreads these things because it throws the babies off their schedule and then they are just cranky. Now for 1 child that's fine but 3 is a little much. :) We actually have them on a great schedule and they seem to be doing well with it. Levi just fights all of his naps, but that's just Levi.
Sleeping at night has gotten better. They all three sleep through the night. I am still up at night though because they take turns in who is going to get up and want their bink. Lately it has been Paige. She is teething and I know she is on the brink of cutting her first tooth. It is right there it just needs to come through already! On top of that she now sleeps on her side. She gets really ticked off if she goes too far and onto her stomach and I don't think she can quite flip herself over in her sleepy state. So Mommy to the rescue to flip and give her her bink.
Our latest photo shoot was the trio in their Girl Scout onsies. They are too cute! :)

Yummmmmmm
We are back to eating solids again. We tried them about a month ago and the babies didn't seem very interested. We decided at their 5 month birthday to give their cereal another try. They took better to it this time. Last week we added Sweet potatoes to the mix. I just love the faces they make when they are trying new things. Levi has been doing the best out of the three with his eating. He opens his mouth, chews, and eats the most. Up until today Nathan and Paige were just kinda along for the ride. Tonight something must have clicked for Nathan because he just couldn't get enough! If he didn't have something in his mouth or have it coming his way he would kick his legs and fuss. It was too funny! Now Paige just needs to clue in and we will be good! I'm still trying to decide if we want to try something new tomorrow. Up to bat is squash and carrots. We shall see! :)

Where does time go?
Every night I sit, after the babies are in bed, and I play on he computer. I start on facebook and play on my games. Yes I am slightly addicted to facebook but the games take little to no thought so it's a nice way to wind down. Then I check my email. After that I end up on the bump. That is generally where I stay for quite some time. I have grown to know some of these women and their babies. It's fun to read posts about babies and things. Also the drama is kinda fun too. :) After that was when I would usually blog but lately I have been to tired so I just say tomorrow night I will do it. Well many tomorrow nights later here I am.
The babies are doing great! We have hit some bumps with naps that we are trying to work through but other than that things are going well. We had them weighed and measured today and they all gained a pound or two in the last month and the boys each grew an inch.
Levi---My feisty boy. He weighed 13.7 pounds and is 25 inches long! He has quite the personality lately. He is also our troublemaker when it comes to nap. The babies have been napping in their swings downstairs for a while now. Well Levi has decided he just wants to scream and cry in his swing. So this week we decided to put him upstairs in his crib for naps. He was doing well in the beginning of the week and only crying a little before falling to sleep. The past couple days however, he has decided to just scream and scream till I go get him. It is definitely a work in progress. His new toy is his feet! He loves to play with them and he uses them to play with his toys. He is, so far, the only one that will bring his toes all the way to his mouth. His smile will also melt your heart.
Nathan--My sweetheart. He weighed 14.11 pounds and is 26.25 inches tall. Nathan has discovered his voice lately. It sometimes takes me a couple minutes to determine if he is happy talking or unhappy talking. (They sound kinda the same) He loves loves loves his toes. He is so happy to just lay on the floor with his feet in the air and hands holding his piggies. His laugh is too cute and it is really funny what he will laugh at. He does not have as much head and neck control as the other two but then again we also claim he likes to play the preemie card. He is a good sleeper but sometimes he "wakes" up fussing and crying but he doesn't open his eyes. I just eventually go in and give him his bink and he is then fine. I find it kinda weird but I guess that's just him!
Paige--My princess. She weighed 12.8 pounds and is 24 inches tall. She is now my peanut, although I still call Levi that since he was my original peanut. She is rolling over. She still only goes from her back to her front. It seems she does this more often when she has decided that she is bored on the playmat. She then gives a grunt and a squeal and over she goes. I leave her on her belly until she gets really mad (hoping that she will get mad enough to roll back) Her favorite toy of choice is the jumperoo. She would spend hours in there if you let her. She is too funny jumping along in there. Gotta love her! She sleeps fairly well except for when her teeth are bothering her. (which is understandable) I just wish they would break all the way through already! She got to nap with me on the couch today cause her teeth were bothering her. Poor baby!
I think that is enough info for today. I will have to try to get on here more often so that I don't bombard my posts with tons of info. If you have read this far then kudos to you! Don't worry though I would not make you read all of this and not put in a picture or two! We went and played outside the other day and of course I took pictures!

We have a roller!
Paige has been working hard at trying to roll over. It's kind of funny because it's like all of the sudden a light bulb went off and she decided she should be trying to roll over. We thought that Levi was going to be first because of how active he is and because he has been sleeping on his side for months so I figured it would be natural for him to roll first. What is also interesting is that Levi goes to his right side where as Paige is rolling to her left. She gets herself all the way over but still needs to figure out what to do with that left arm. Currently she pretty much just lies on it. It's really neat to sit and watch her keep trying. Don't think I have forgotten about Nathan. He just seems content trying to get his piggy toes to reach his mouth (he is about halfway there) instead of rolling over. My Mom and I just say he is playing the preemie card and will just take his time doing things. Since they were a month early they technically go by their adjusted age (from their due date) for milestones and such for the first year. So even though they are 5 months old we should look at them like they are 4 months old. I figure they will do things when they are good and ready! Now for picture time. I have some cute pictures from our new version of tummy time which they like. We prop them up on a boppy. They seem to like it better because they seem to be able to see better. There is Levi, then Nathan, then Paige. :)
Baptism
Here are 2 pictures from the babies Baptism on Sunday. I have only gotten pictures that my parents have taken so far so if and when I receive more from others that took pictures I will post more.
This is the babies with their Godmother's. The 2nd is of Alan and I with Pastor and the babies.

Baptism
Today we had the trio's Baptism. They did great! I was very pleased with them. Levi and Paige just took it in a stride. Nathan gave a couple cries when the water was being put on his head but then he was fine. They looked so cute in their Baptism outfits that Grammy made for them! I can't wait to see everyone's pictures. I have none to post right now but as soon as I do I will put some up. We had a long day so good night to all.

101 in 1001 update
I decided to look over my list of 101 in 1001 because I knew of one thing that I had accomplished. Well I actually have accomplished 2 things and by the end of the weekend I will have 2 more done! #1, which was have professional pictures taken of the babies, we did that a couple weeks ago. Also #81, which was organize all the babies clothes. I have been slowly trying to accomplish this and I finally got caught up and have them all organized. It seemed whenever I got ahead and almost had them organized, I got a whole new lot of clothes given to us. I now have about 5 bins of clothes labeled by size. I also have a bin of clothes I really liked and didn't want to get rid of. I have I don't know how many boxes of unwanted clothes that are now in the garage labeled for the yard sale I hope to have this spring/summer. I also have clothes hanging in the spare bedroom waiting to be washed and worn. I redid their drawers and closet yet again, getting rid of all the clothes that no longer fit. It's amazing how quick they go through their clothes! I swear some of the things they only got to wear once or twice before they grew out of it. So I have 2 down, 999 to go! :)

Clean house
That seems to be all I have been doing lately. Clean, clean, clean! I have been getting ready for Alan's family to come into town for the trio's Baptism on Sunday. And let me just say a simple cleaning of the house is not so simple with three 4 month old's. As soon as I leave the room we go from angelic to entertain me now! From asleep to screaming. (gotta love the meltdown man!) So I have to have everything ready by tomorrow since that is when half of them will get here. So unfortunately tonight is going to be short and sweet. Also Levi has started teething as well as Paige. It just breaks my heart to see them in pain but it has to happen. Of course they wait until they have a recall on all tylenol before they decided to teeth! Thank goodness for generic brands! So I leave tonight with a picture of a happy Paige. :)

Teeth!!
Today was a big day! Paige cut her first tooth! Yesterday on our ride home from Virginia she was fussy. I thought she was hungry and so I tried to feed her. She just cried more. I tried a bunch of stuff and the thing that worked was her chewing on my finger. I felt her gums and thought I felt something so I decided to massage her gums a little. Today she was being fussy and my Mom was trying to comfort her. She fel in her mouth and she had cut her first tooth! It's the bottom, left tooth! Very exciting. As soon as it comes up I will have to try to get a toothy grin! Yay Paige! :)
Virginia May 2nd 2010
Yesterday was a big day for us. We went on our first trip with the trio. We took a 4 hour car ride to Virginia for my Grandmother's 90th surprise birthday party. The biggest surprise was for her to meet her great grand-kids, which is something she has been wanting to do since they were born. The trio did great on the car ride down. They were also very well behaved all during lunch. It was also there first time in a restaurant. They were passed around and they only fussed a little when they wanted a nap. We also had a spot to put them down to play for a little so they could stretch out. My Mom-mom was soooo surprised and soooo happy that they came down. I am really glad that we took them down to see her. It was a very long day but it was worth it after I saw how happy we made her. We got tons of pictures of course! She held each one of the babies, and they were very good. Levi loved to look at the balloons that were on the table. Nathan liked to play with the string attached to the balloons. Paige just squealed so she could hear her voice as usual. :) The trio have now met 2 out of 3 Great Grandmother's. They will be meeting the 3rd one this weekend! Here are some pics of the trio with their Great Mom-mom. (my Dad's Mom) Also is a picture of 4 generations of "Kern's" My Mom-mom, My Dad, me, and the trio! :)

1 year ago today........
We found out that we were pregnant! I can't believe it has been a year already! Where does the time go? I still remember that day like it was yesterday. Thursday night the 30th Alan made a comment about me looking "different" I asked what he meant and he said he wasn't sure. For whatever reason I decided to try the next morning to take a pregnancy test. The dr. said to wait till Monday but I wanted to try early :) I woke up at 6:30am and couldn't sleep anymore and decided to take the test. 2 faint lines showed up. I went yelling into our room where Alan was still sleeping. I said "Alan I took a test I think there are 2 lines! I'm pregnant!" And he said "Megan it's 6:30 in the morning" Haha he's not much of a morning person! After he woke up he was excited. I called the dr. and they did the blood test that day. Yay we were pregnant. We didn't find out it was 3 till later.
Tomorrow we are taking our first big adventure with the trio. We are going to Virginia, to my Grandmother's surprise 90th birthday party. She really wants to see the babies and she can't travel so we decided we are going to make the trip so she can meet the babies. I'm excited and I am dreading the trip all at once. Fingers crossed that the trip goes well!
