1 year ago today.....

I started this blog! I can't believe it has already been a year! I am very impressed that I have kept up with it this long. I am not a writer by any means. In fact one of my least favorite subjects in school was English. I always dreaded having to write papers and did all the tricks to make it longer. Change the font, the font size, you name it I would try it to make it appear longer. Honestly I didn't think I would last this long. Want to know what kept me going? People actually reading my blog! Even though people don't really comment in the blog I know people are reading it. The little comments by people here and there are what let me know people read. Now I really know you all come for the photos of my cute kids......I don't blame you! I think they are pretty stinking cute too! So Happy 1 year anniversary to me!

My very first blog post was 101 in 1001. Well it has been 365 days of those 1001 days. Lets see what I have accomplished. I have highlighted in blue what I have done and the red is what will not happen.

I have done 23 out of the 101 so far. There are 2 that didn't happen. Unfortunately we didn't have the money to throw a 30th birthday party for Alan and I. We saved the money to throw the trio their first birthday instead which we thought was more important. I had also wanted to make my own baby food but that just didn't happen. We shall see what the future has in store for us. I will continue to work on my list.
I just want to say thank you. Thank you for reading and making me plug forward with all of this. This blog will be a great thing for my trio to some day look back on and treasure. And for that I am Happy.

  1. You've done great, mama! You should be so proud of yourself :)

(and you can cross #60 off that list this summer!)

  2. Megan, great job with the blog! I love seeing pictures of your adorable kids and reading about what they are up to.
